Applying Teen Makeup

Usually, teens do not want to wear the same makeup as adults. Many prefer a more natural look and opt to wear less makeup. Many feel that if they wear foundation for instance, they would look as if they were wearing a mask, and, who can blame them!

Most women wearing foundation look pink, orange or two-toned. They actually look worse wearing makeup than wearing none. This is because the foundation they wear, do not perfectly match their natural skin color. As teens, when you have a hot date or simply walk into a room, you want people to notice you and not your makeup.

If you are fortunate to have flawless skin as a teenager, then you can get by wearing only a face powder. Use an oil absorbent, yellow-based face powder and this should keep you matte and shine free for hours.

If however you are like most teens, then you need to use a foundation with some coverage, depending on the condition of your skin. Your choices range from light coverage liquid foundations, to cream or powder foundations to full coverage camouflage foundations. Regardless of the condition of your skin, the best possible foundation is a product such as Sacha's Dual-Activ Powder foundations. It is a powder and foundation in one so it is very easy to use. It is oil-absorbent, has decent coverage and is yellow-based so it's very natural-looking.

Once you apply your foundation you create the canvas for makeup, so you can let your creativity run away with you, experimenting with different lip, eye and cheek makeup options. Be sure to check out Sacha's range of eye shadows. They are really out of this world.
